General Motors introduced a new model of Chevrolet Equiox in Beijing that runs on hydrogen, making the beleaguered automaker the most recent company to take a big bet on the electric vehicle market in China. Also, India would adopt electric cars faster than other countries because of the size and relative lack of reliance on gasoline for transport.

The girl was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old relative that was pulled over by police for speeding. The driver was in the process of being arrested for attempting to obstruct justice and not having a valid license when the teen allegedly left the vehicle and physically interfered with the arrest, police said.
