ThousandStars writes "According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft has been making a concerted effort to promote Windows in Africa, pushing Windows over Linux in very poor countries that haven't been locked into a single operating system. From the article: 'To that end, it has established a presence in 13 countries, donated Windows for thousands of school computers, and funded programs for entrepreneurs and the young. It also has used aggressive business tactics, some aimed at its biggest threat in the region: Linux ...'"

At least!Now who will be the fastestto send me one to start testing ?It appears that firmware 2.0 won'tbe available today. Fortunately.It also appears I got rightalmost all my predictions:colours, no front cam.

Here's something new to be scared of -- showerheads spraying out bacteria linked to pulmonary disease. According to this article from MSNBC, 20% of 45 showerheads tested in five states sprayed water which contained Mycobacterium avium, which can pose a health threat to people with weakened immune systems. Researchers at the University of Colorado, Boulder, discovered presence of the bacteria at levels 100 times the amount found in the municipal water sources. Relax, says Newsweek, the ...
