The new SC6514 SpeediCut Jr. handheld gas saw is a great new product at an incredibly low price. The unit is powerful with a 4.8 HP “hemi” engine and a poly V-belt for maximum torque transfer. It is also versatile using 12” or 14” blades with 22mm or 1” arbor. These units are used to cut concrete, steel, masonry, stone, asphalt, wood and many other materials. Handling the SpeediCut Jr. is pretty easy thanks to the compact lightweight design at 22 lbs and enlarged protected trigger guard which allows the user to wear gloves. Emissions and noise concerns are a growing factor these days but with advanced exhaust features, digital ignition and fuel efficient gas tank this is one of the most efficient saws on the market.

Ohio Power Tool is currently selling the SpeediCut Jr. SC6514 for $629 which is a great price for such a versatile saw. The similar size Partner/Husqvarna saws are in the $900-1000 range. If you are looking to save some money this is defiantly a great saw. If you have any other questions about the CoreCut SpeediCut saws or any of our other Diamond Products please call 800-242-4424.

New M12 Milwaukee 2415-21 Right Angle 3/8” Drill

Yep it’s another new tool for the Milwaukee M12 tool line. It seems like we have been posting several times a week on all the new Milwaukee Tools but they just keep coming out with really cool new stuff. The Milwaukee 2415-21 ($139) M12 Right Angle drill is no exception. Similar to the Bosch PS10-2a ($119) however the new Milwaukee has a 20% more torque, faster RPM and of course the 3/8” hard plastic chuck. The 2415-21 offers a respectable 100 in-lbs torque, 800 RPM with electronic 11 setting chuck however for serious drilling from a compact tool the 2410-22 ($149) is still the better way to go with more powerful 250 in-lbs, 2 speed 0-400/0-1500 RPM, (2) batteries in kit and a metal chuck.

Where this new drill really shines is in compact spaces, with a head length of only 3-3/4” this drill can get into places most other tool can’t with the versatility of using a 3/8” chuck. The M12 right angle drill also features a built-in LED work light, battery gauge and extended paddle switch.  Check out all the Milwaukee M12 tools at Ohio Power Tool.

New Ingersoll Rand ¾” Impact Wrench 259

Posted by on under ingersoll rand impact wrench, ft lbs torque, air inlet hose, nbsp nbsp nbsp nbsp nbsp, ingersoll rand, mid level, inlets, power tool, bolts, torque |

The new IR 259 essentially replaces the 258 as their mid-level ¾” gun for Ingersoll Rand. However there is nothing mid-level about this tool. It’s smaller and lighter than any other gun in its class. The gun delivers an impressive 1,050 ft lbs torque in both forward and reverse and only requires a 3/8” air inlet hose, unlike many others which require ½” inlets hose. The new design has better weight distribution, easier to switch from forward and reverse and I imagine easier to service and repair from the looks of the large bolts on the front.

The new Ingersoll Rand 259 ($299.99, Ohio Power Tool) is very competitively priced, offers variable control trigger and is assembled in the US. Although, is assembled in the US what we really get excited for these days? All around this is a great gun at a great price and it looks pretty cool as well.

Milwaukee M12 Cordless No-Hub Driver 2455-22

Milwaukee posted on their website an interesting new tool. It is a new Milwaukee M12 screwdriver that has 3 torque settings: 60 in-lbs, 80 in-lbs & drill. The main purpose of the new drill/driver is to install no-hub couplings most accurately to their specifications. The M12 2455-22 is the first if its kind in the industry and designed to install 300 clamps per charge and only needs recalibrated every 25,000 clamps. Every no-hub coupling give a specific torque setting threshold and there are manual tools on the market but nothing cordless in a package this compact. Obviously this won’t be a tool for everyone with such a specific application but it does reinforce the idea Milwaukee is making tools for professionals even in their 12 volt tools.

The 2455-22 should be in-stock in the very near future. The Milwaukee M12 Tool line now has over 20 models available, check them out on Ohio Power Tool and feel free to email sales@ohiopowertool.com if you have any questions about Milwaukee Tools. Read the full press release below.
